Being able to burp is a wonderful thing, and definitely doesn't mean your wrap is a failure. Like you, I worried that burps were bad and meant that my surgery had failed. I talked about
it with my surgeon (who had warned me that I couldn't burp or vomit after my surgery--and I've done both) and he said it was a bonus that I was able to burp. You won't have nearly as much trouble with bloating, which is a VERY good thing!
