I'm 3 days post surgery and yesterday I began having diarrhea and I'm terrified to put anything into my stomach. I've had a huge hiatal hernia for as long as I can remember. In June I began having horrible pain. Went to the ER many times.I have ono insurance so getting help almost impossible. Finally get a surgeon to see me and he is convinced im drug seeking. He barely would do the surgery and i knew if I)prolems postop help wont be coming. Now i have almost non-stop diarreah any thoughts or suggestions. Im on liquids mostly did try a little soft eggs and baked potatoe.

Welcome to the Wrapped Club!

With being on liquids this is very common, even while eating soft foods. If it got to bad I used imodium OTC.
The eggs should be okay, but go slow. Be careful with potatoes as they can pile up at the wrap site. Go very slow when eating them.

Take care,
Bill

If it gets bad I will do that. I hate the bound up feeling Imodium gives me. I also have diverticulum on my duodenum, a lot of them and they're large, so thought maybe they are acting up. Just thought of that this morning. The stool is very grainy which made me think gallbladder, which made me think diverticulitis.

I to have diverticulosis. Mine is in my small intestine and beginning of my colon. I can relate pretty well. With the imodium I have used 1/2 before as a start. Sometimes that's all I need.

Take care,
Bill

Thanks for the replies, I backed off the liquids and it seems to be resolving itself.
Be blessed
