I need to book a Restech 24 Hour pH test, but I can't afford the harsh price tag of getting it done privately, so I'll have to wait on the NHS. Has anyone here had any success in getting this test done this way, and if you have where do you get it from? I tried contacting Restech directly, but they guided me to some hospitals that don't actually do the test. confused

I know the Restech is done at the Spire Manchester by Dr Josephine Barlow - I don't know if the NHS will pay for it though.

You can get the manometry and ph testing done at Telford princess royal hospital. It costs close to 600.00.

Sorry to bump the old post, but I need a plan asap, and unfortunatly I simply don't have the money to travel to the locations already mentioned. However someone said Frenchay Hospital in Bristol might do the test; can anyone confirm this to be true?

I was quoted £1000 for private manometry and pH monitoring smhair
So I had it done on the NHS - GI surgeon referred me for it. I would recommend asking questions of the technicians beforehand though as my NHS one was pretty basic, no buttons to press, not even asked to write down what my activities were!
