On Saturday I woke up at 4:30am with a horrible sore throat (drastically different from my esophagitis sore throat) and an uneasy stomach. Throughout the day I had very frequent BMs and by evening diarrhea. I'm assuming I had the stomach flu because I don't think food poisoning causes sore throats. Well since that day I have had heartburn, for the first time in over a month of having it under control. No matter what I eat. Heartburn. Also this bug really hasn't finished running its course. Four days later I am still making frequent trips to the bathroom. Luckily I never vomited.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant today and am trying to figure out if this is pregnancy induced heartburn or if the stomach flu can just temporarily make heartburn worse? I can recall other bouts of stomach flu where I felt burny in my stomach so I'm hoping that's the case and NOT that I am about to embark on 6 months of straight heartburn no matter what I eat or what medications I take. :(

Somebody reassure me please!!
