I have a small hiatus hernia (1cm), acid reflux and I want to have a baby. But I am worrying about my hernia. Will a hiatus hernia grow larger after pregnancy? How much larger?

That is something no one could estimate.

Since you want to have a baby, I say go for it! Life's gambles turn into some of life's most precious gifts.

Take care,

I would ask your consultant. At a guess I would say yes, anything that causes larger abdominal pressure puts more pressure on the hiatus.
On saying that my hernia has grown in 9 months from <1cm to now 3cm and all I have done is the usual house chores, I'm not overweight so go figure.
You may have a much stronger diaphragm than me, and you could be just fine, but I would ask your consultant as he would surely have had cases of this in the past.
