Hi,

It's now over 3 months since my Nissen Fundoplication. I have absolutely no regrets about having it, but I'm still struggling with food. I was hospitalised with a blocked oesophagus post surgery and i'm due to have another barium swallow.

Quite often when I eat something I can feel it pushing through the wrap site and last night I had some severe pain from underneath the breast bone. Is/has anyone else experienced this so far into recovery?

Hello,

I'm about 4 months out from my Nissen procedure. Some food I still have problems getting down (sticky things, or when I don't chew enough). When I do experience that I stop and think "What am I doing wrong?" and it's usually because I'm eating too fast, not chewing well enough and not cutting my food up into small enough pieces.

Be careful and be good to your wrap!
