I have had some short pin like pricks that occur around my zyphoid process area. This is new and started a few months ago. I thought it was attributed to working out or my weight loss this past year.
I also attributed it to a possible ulcer.
I had Barrett's but it was ablated last spring. 3 months after that my doc did an endoscopy and it was good.
I moved on. But one day my prescription got mailed to the wrong address and I had to use generic. Instant gas bubble exploded in my upper tummy and zyphoid area. I emailed my doc and he said to use Gaviscon and not to stress. So I opted to leave these sites and concentrate on spending web time looking up healthy lifestyles and found the paleo diet to work the best. Lots of juicing and blending green veggies. Truly I have not felt better since this whole Barrett's thing started last year. But, one day I decided to email my doc and let him know my condition had improved a lot, but I still get very short(a few seconds to a few minutes) stabbing like pricks in my zyphoid and the area around it. Not terribly painful but there. Comes and goes really fast. My doc emailed back and asked that I schedule an endoscopy. So , I go in again on friday.
Can acid reflux come and go just like that. Only listing. Few seconds?
Also, has anyone found the pleo diet to work. I follow it by bout 80 percent. I blend kale, spin ache, cucumber, frozen banana , and spiralena with some apple juice. In the afternoon I juice kale and spinach . For Mel's i et chicken, fish nd meat. Meat only a couple times. Week and it is grass fed. Lots of veggies and very little to no bread and starchy carbs. I do have pizza with light sauce once in. While but never get heartburn from it. Granted I et 2 to 2.5 slices and not the whole thing. I used to enjoy ice cream a bit once in a while but have found that with my new zyphoid pain the sugar may be triggering it?????? Still trying to see if it is a connection. Does sugar have. Reaction with ulcers?
Anyway, after a year....a long year I am tired of this but in. Much better place to crept it.
