Thanks JPT.

I have been actively trying to attack this issue for many years. The problem started when I was literally starving in college. I think going for days with no food and then overheating, like any starving animal would tend to do, caused the hiatal hernia to really turn into a problem.

At the end of the day, the problem is that my stomach doesn't close. I weighed 49 lbs less, basically a stick figure, and the problem just got worse and worse. I'm not optimistic at all about weight loss have any effect.

This forum doesn't allow me to read posts while I'm replying so I can't intelligibly reply to all of your comments, but I will say that the diaphragm breathing is the only remaining treatment that I have not beaten into the ground with no results.

I will retread your list and work on the issues. Thanks for the response.

Oh man I started another thread instead of replying. I use forums all day and this one always gives me a headache for some reason.

Hi Robotaz,
I'm guessing the problem you're having is when you edit a post.  When you're writing the post initially, you can see all the posts below it, but the edit function doesn't allow you to see them.
You could always copy and paste the original message into your post, then delete it afterward.  When you do delete text that you don't want, do not highlight then hit backspace or delete.  Instead, just place your cursor at the end of the text you want to delete and just hit the backspace key.  It takes a little longer, but you won't lose your post, which has happened to me many times.  I guess I'm a slow learner!
Best wishes,
