I swear i'm about ready to spray some baking soda water up my nose to get some relief. Are there other options? Have seen some info to protect/soothe the throat but can't seem to find something for the upper throat/back of sinuses issues.

You could spray the high pH water products in your nose. Search around here for the names of those products. I tried the pH=9 water found at Whole Foods and it's good stuff. I took the advice of someone on this forum and boiled it with my head over the pan (with a towel to focus the steam to my face) and got relief in my sinuses and lungs.

I will also add that Gaviscon tablets actually have helped everything. I'm not sure how treating the Pepsin in my throat carried over to improvement in other areas, but it did. Gaviscon is my friend. :)

I have GERD & LPR and over the past year really noticed my LPR has been causing non-allergenic rhinitis for years. I take sedated almost every day for the congestion. Anti-histamines don't work at all.

Dexilant helps with the burn but it doesn't stop regurgitation which is why I still have LPR.

I have had 24 Ph tests and Manometry and am considering surgery. No guarantees but I found a study that suggests that anti-reflux surgery helps extraesophogeal symptoms such as sinus, ear infections, and breathing problems. Do a search on pubmed and you should find it. Encouraging.
