So I was doing pretty awesome my first week after having the LINX done. I was eating solid foods like a champ, already enjoying a little wine, adding a slight bit of spice back into my life. Then Thanksgiving hit.
I did perfectly fine Thanksgiving day. Probably ate a little too much, but restrained myself by and large. The problem happened the next day. When I woke up Friday, I sat down to eat a bagel. After two bites it felt like it was sitting like a rock in my stomach. I then choked up some mucus; it felt like I was trying to vomit, but could only get clear stuff up. I didn't eat much the whole day. I was able to slowly get down a bagel later, and then a small salad.
Later in the evening I was eating a few crackers and some prune juice when it happened again, and I started retching and throwing up mucus. Today I've taken it really easy and have managed to keep things down a little bit, although it doesn't feel just right in my stomach.
Has anyone else had this experience where you were doing well then suddenly had nausea? I'm not running a fever, and I am able to swallow, but I just have this nagging feeling of nausea and a feeling as if I'm going to throw up if I go to burp. Any thoughts?
