Hi all,

I just weaned myself from PPI after almost 2 months of being on it.  For 4 days now, i am just taking Motillium before meals and Tums after meals.

Although its December but it is so hot here in the Philippines.  A few of my colleagues are having URTI.  Although I have sinus problems and constant throat clearing while with PPI but last Saturday, I woke up with a headache and throat soreness.  I thought its a rebound already but I started sneezing and this time, mucus really were expelled.  I am afraid to take medicines and just continue saline spray and Avamys.

I feel the need to take antibiotics but last time i was put on Co amox I experienced terrible heartburn.

I am taking Sinupret which claimed to be herbal.  I think what would work best is decongestant that has antihistamine on it but is just afraid i might have hearburn.

I am hypertensive but since going on bland diet has lost weight and my BP is controlled even if i would intentionally miss my meds for hypertension.

I feel so lethargic and sick everytime i would try to expel mucus from my nose.  I am not even taking anything for headache.

I wish someone can give me a good advise.

Thanks.

I take sudafed all the time for my sinusitis. It definitely helps but it's certainly not natural and can raise your heart rate.
