Hey guys, just wanted to asked anyone if they experience this too. I noticed now after my nissen that when I swallow liquids it causes a heartburn feeling in my chest like 3 seconds after swallowing. Not sure why water would make this happen.

Hi Sixness,
I have no idea why you're having it with water, but it's an indication of a pain/discomfort in your esophagus, which is interpreted by your brain as reflux. I don't know when you had your surgery, but these are the kinds of quirks that seem to disappear at the one year plus mark. Hang in there!
