I have been sleeping with the head of my bed elevated by 7" for several months now. It does help, but sleeping with my whole body at an angle is beginning to affect my legs and feet which get very hot and uncomfortable now (I have superficial varicose veins).

As a result I am looking into getting a wedge pillow which would just elevate my torso only and not cause other problems in my lower body. What I want to know is if anyone can recommend a good one. I am in the UK, so it would be best if the recommendations were for UK stockists as I think I would incur a hefty tax on anything imported from say the US.

Please tell me if you found one that helped you.

Many thanks.

Hi Noelle

They sell wedge pillows on Amazon. I'm not sure where else in the UK you could get them from.

I hope your ok. I'm much the same. It's like one step forward and two back all the time.

Take care

Maria

I have had great luck with Medicline. My wife uses it all the time. amazon has it, but it's kind of expensive.

It come's with a detachable pillow that is adjustable and allows for side sleeping also comes with a body pillow.

Take care,
Bill

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the feedback.

I looked up Medline wedge pillows on Amazon.com, but from what I can see the length of the ones for reflux are only 24 inches. Maybe I'm wrong, but I was led to believe that the shorter ones were in fact bad for reflux as they make the diaphragm bend at the stomach. What length is yours and how high?
