Hello!

I posted about 3 months ago about having these painful attacks like I had prior to surgery. 3 months later the attacks still happen. I go see my GI doc Friday (thankfully). Its just very frustrating. I started exercising my core and had an attack shortly after. Didn't last very long. I shouldn't have a problem with crunches and stuff though, right?

Thanks!

It takes a full year for the muscles to be completely healed. You are just at the point of about 80% healing now. I can see doing crunches and such causing pain. It's your body telling you to go a bit easier right now.

Take care,
Bill

Thanks Bill. I didn't realize it would be a year. That's a bummer! I've been having some wicked indigestion lately too. Just like before. I have to admit, its a bit disheartening.

Also, last month I had a pretty bad attack episode. Bad enough to go to the er. They did a ct and the doc said it showed a hernia but it could also be that the wrap looks like a hernia? What do y'all think?

Wraps can look like a hernia, especially if you didn't tell the tech about it or the tech didn't bother to relay that message to whoever read the pictures. The doc you saw may not have even seen the CT personally, only read the report.

Get a copy of the CT on disc. They should give it to you free if you say it's for another doctor. Make a copy for yourself. Take the CD and the report to your regular gastro.
