Hi everyone, ive been over Nugits in Newcastle for my review after a fundoplication redo and the surgeon was very pleased with how everthings went.He noticed I was no longer pale and thin,im now a pinkish colour and have a bit of a belly lol.
He was able to show detailed images of every stage of my redo, not for the squeamish!
I asked how long could I expect the surgery to last and he said between 10 to 15 years or maybe longer.I really hope so!
I also asked about the new endostim trials as I know they were involved in that but he didn't want to discuss it,he just said it was very early days.He also said there are a few promising things on the horizon for acid reflux and swallowing problems which they will be involved in but would not go into details. Its good to know theres people out there trying to cure this condition. Hi Barry, that's great news about your review.

Thanks for enquiring about Endostim. A shame we couldn't get any further info, but that is only to be expected at this juncture.

Hope you have a safe trip home.
