I didnt think the misery could get much worse, but i found out the hard way that i can. It seems the pain i have in my throat spread to my sinuses about 2 months ago. Have been on 3 rounds of antibiotics and nasonex and i still have debilitating sinus headaches and now ear aches everyday. Does anybody else have these problems? Thanks

I used to suffer from this problem starting last November. When it got worse and I started losing my voice, my GI suggested I should see an ENT doctor. I did. He performed a sinus CT and throat samples and all came out negative. The ENT doc said that this all was caused by my reflux and that I had to get back to my GI to treat it. I'm on Nasonex too and Areius (losartadine) every night and things started to become better. Make sure to suppress reflux before you sleep so that it does not go back. I take Gaviscon Advance.
Take care :)

Thank you for the reply, my docs dont know if i have reflux or some kind of nerve damage, but i have all of the symptoms of silent reflux. I lost my voice back in March when i had a Bravo probe and also have the lump in the throat feeling. But it wasnt until december that i got the sinus problems. My ENT said to try it for two weeks and let him know how it was doing. My nose closes up in warm air and opens in cold air. It acts like a neural problem. How long have you been on the nasonex and can you describe the sinus symptoms you had please?
