Simple question this, can reflux symptoms be affected by the weather? I noticed my burning throat has been worse recently, just like last year or whenever I drink cold drinks.

Yesterday was very cold. I ate simple, alkaline foods as I was at work, and burned on a single salmon bagel and water. Today has been warmer, and I ate exactly the same but experienced no burning at all. Stepping outside into the cold also made me feel 10 times worse.
