Hi All, this is my first post.
I have had a sore throat for 5-6 weeks, male aged 32, very fit, non smoker etc. The reason why I think I have silent reflux is, I drink up to 16 cans of diet soda per day, 3 cups of coffee, tea and over fluids.
I eat huge volumes of food between 6.30 pm-8.30pm, c75% of daily calories , I take in a lot of caffeine via energy drinks and tablets. I have been to the Dr and he does not see any signs of infection etc.
I was wondering if I could ask for help with the following:-
Can you use chewing gum on the induction phase of the Koufman diet? (another bad habit of mine 2 pellets at a time, up to 6 packets per day)
Have digestive enzymes (ingredients below) proven helpful for silent reflux?
Betaine HCl: 200mg
Papaya Fruit Powder: 45mg
