And is there a possibility of GERD medicines causing bloating?

I did the Clean Program and walked 5 miles per day. Once the cleanse was over I continued to eat better and walk and I lost about 20 lbs.

Just cut back your food a little, get whatever small amount of exercise you can. Don't do anything you can't do for a long time, into the foreseeable future. So many people go on a short term diet, then gain the weight back when the diet ends. Don't do that.

I think I am the only one that has been on a clear liquid diet for two weeks and gained a pound. I am also on water pills so I'm not retaining water.

I think replacing tea with lemon grass is also good for weight loss along with other measures.

Jessit, if you cut back your food too much, your body slows down metabolism to keep you from starving. The weight loss scams that dominate the media don't tell you that.

I did it by stopping eating chocolate, cakes and anything sweet unless it was a special occasion or someone had made an effort like buying or making a cake.

Cutting right back on alcohol.

Eating a little less than usual at every meal.

Having nuts as snacks, no muffins etc.

Exercise a little more than normal. Take the stairs etc.

So, nothing that's lifechanging, just things that make you burn more than you use.
