Hello Bill, I just found this forum and this is my first post. You mentioned in one of your posts that you could provide the name of an excellent redo surgeon at Loyola...I am very interested. I have had three prior surgeries and am in need of a fourth. My most recent redo was ten years ago at Northwestern in Chicago. Are you at all familiar with that facility as it relates to this topic? I am miserable...my wrap has herniated and my surgeon seems very reluctant...I have been warned (repeatedly) by different doctors/surgeons that each redo becomes more difficult/risky. I'm beginning to wonder if I should proceed with someone who seems so reluctant. I would welcome any input, advice or support you can offer!

Welcome to Healing Well.

Sorry it tool me so long to get back to you. My email is on my profile or just click the envelop under my user name. Shoot me an email and I can give you his information.

As for a surgeon being reluctant...I would definitely pass on him/her and find someone who is confident and has a known success rate for redo surgeries.

I don't have any experience with Northwestern personally and I wasn't referred to them as the top 3 choices when I needed my redoes.

Take care,
Bill devil
