I am sitting here in tears crying hysterically because for almost two weeks I have had what feels like a lump in my throat and terrible acid reflux! I did not think it was supposed to come back quite like this. I had an infection in my ears so they prescribed steroids and antibiotics. Well, I am just getting worse and worse. Anyone ever had this happened post wrap? My doctor is a close friend and I am debating calling him. I am usually strong as an ox, but this has me thinking something is growing in my throat. Any help is appreciated!

Sorry you are feeling bad. I would definitely call and make an appointment with your GI.

Best wishes,

Your lump in your throat is usually caused by a cricopharyngeal spasm - I have this and dysfunction all the time now, caused by LPR - silent reflux - get a visit to your consultant for some ppi's and see if that makes a difference.
Hope that you feel better soon!

Call your doctor. What you are experiencing will be preventable. I'm not a great advocate of sayings but the Buddhist phrase of 'permanence is an illusion' is a mantra that I often hold on to in times like this. You will heal, you will get better, things will change but when you're in the place you currently occupy this can be difficult to accept. Phone, text, visit, book an appointment - whatever your prefer, but be proactive: this in itself will lift your mood.
