Hi, I'm 12 weeks post op and for the last few weeks I've started to get reflux when sitting at my desk.

The obvious response is.... don't sit at a desk :) But this is my career and I've a family to feed.

If I sit upright (no back rest) in *perfect* posture then the symptoms aren't too bad, but doing this for a full day is near impossible. At some point I need to use a back rest or slouch.

Does anyone else experience this and does anyone have advice or solutions? The nausea seems to stem from my lower ab region but soon gets to the top and the esophagus area.

All the best, LD.

I know you read this a million times, but you are still quite early on in your recovery and any extra pressure on your belly can cause some problems yet.

Does your chair have a lumbar support? If not the sell ones you can attach to the back of a chair and I am wondering if that might give you more support in posture without you having to do all the work.

Are you getting a reflux feeling and nausea? The reflux feeling could just be food or drink sitting at the wrap site and slouching may be causing the wrap area to tighten up not letting everything through right now.

Take care,
