Yes....the Hiatus hernia can cause pain in the chest as it moves up. The dizziness and vomiting too. Feelings of fullness and pain below rib cage is common with large hernias. I had a big one 4-5 cm and it was excruciating.

I get most of those symptoms also, I'm not sure if the root cause is gerd, hernia or IBS......but I get them.

Kerry1983,

Yep....all of those symptoms can be related to hiatus hernia and gerd. Had every single one of them. I was told I had a "small" 2 cm hernia too. Honestly, a 2 cm hernia should not be causing pain. I would get more answers from the doctors.

Kerry,
My symptoms are always changing, that being said here's the ones from your list that have given me trouble. 1,2,3,5,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,16,18,19,20, so most of them anyway.

I have a small hernia also, (IMO) I don't agree with most ppl/doc that a small hernia won't cause problems. A hernia is part of your stomach moving into part of your chest, pushing through a blown out body part. Just another point, until recently if you ask most doctors they'd tell you that there's no such there as LPR......now tell that to someone who suffers from it.

Anytime you feel something isn't right you should follow up with your doctor, just to be safe.

Thankyou for that I makes me a bit happier!!! I have been to the doctors about this several times... I think the neck aches and back of head is pressure from me being on my iPad all the time like 7 hours a day if not more every day..... Which I am leant forward, silly I no! But yes the herin is hurting be and I when my tummy hurts and then my head will tighten up within a slipt second!! So I think a lot of the head problems are nervous, thankyou all for your support xxxx
