Hello Healing Well family..

I have not posted here recently but I do try to stay current. I miss the posts that we all shared and vented our current life experiences. I just wanted to come by and say that 3 years ago tonite I was in the hospital dealing with my first evening after surgery and loving me some pain killers... I just want to say that the people I met here were the greatest.. If not for them I would have had a much harder time understanding what my body was going through. I would not have known that everything I was experiencing was "normal". I would never have realized that the things I was experiencing were supposed to happen in the course of healing after my Nissen Fundoplication. If I ever have to have it redone.. I will dread the recuperation but I will go thru it all for the piece of mind and normal life that I have gained.
Huge THANK YOU to Kitt, Denise, Bill and Joy and a whole host of others who gladly shared their experiences and listened to my moaning and crying and shared my laughter and triumphs thru my healing...
huggs to you all

It's good to hear from you. Very happy to hear everything is good.

since you hit your 3 year mark, that means I am only 4 months away from my 3 year mark too.

Take care,

Wow and awesome to see you again.  I miss our " Where in the World is Bill?" threads too but I continue to consider all of you my friends.
3 years out and what a great outcome.  I remember how tough your journey to healing was and to read your post today is inspiring.
I also want to thank you for posting in the heart forum - it is such a great forum and lots of readers but never enough members posting so know you are appreciated for your contributions.
I suspect you know that my GERD improved after my colon cancer surgery. Now that does not mean I wish cancer on anyone. shocked
Be well my friend and if you ever need someone you will find me in the A&P and Heart Forum.  My email is always open to you.
