I had a nissen done over Thanksgiving and it went very well. All of my symptoms are gone and I was back to a normal diet after only a month. I have family in town right now and all they want to do is eat. Thus, I have eaten far too much over the past 3 days. I now have a sharp (but mild) pain right below my rib cage (slight on my right side). Is it possible I messed up my wrap by overeating? Or, is this a pain that one gets once in a while? This is the first time I have experienced it.

Thanks to all that reply.

Don't stress it if it's just this one time. I had pain in what sounds like the same place. Mine comes and goes and is kind of a daily thing now, but we're all different. My doctor dismissed it. If it keeps bugging you, check it out. I'm not a doctor and this is only my experience.

Ease up on the eating. You're still early-ish in recovery. I ate past full too many times and I think I'm paying for it now.
