Gas-X (called Wind-Eze in the UK) can help with feeling bloated.
Remember that your stomach is now smaller after the operation, so you will get fuller quicker.
Don't use straws in drinks and try to avoid fizzy/gassy drinks as you are still in your first year.
There can however be some foods which will continue to cause you problems post-op. I'm coming up for 11 years since my op and I still have problems with red onion which always makes me uncomfortable (dumb-ass that I am, I still eat them if they happen to be on a salad I get in a restaurant!).
