hmm ... yellow stool is a little concerning. this can be a sign of many other conditions -- have you told your physician this?

protonix really is not the most efficacious drug on the market -- and if you're still having symptoms, you might want to talk to your doctor about switching therapies.

I'd seriously consider, then, a battery of GE testing --- Upper & lower endoscopy & h. pylori to get started.

definately cut down on the high-fat & spicy foods. additionally -- try to cut down on any foods that have gravy or other products in them.

i'd never use protonix in my practice ... i'd switch you to Nexium 2x/day to keep the pH controlled.

Yellow stool usually just means it has gone quickly through your body.......fast "transit" time. When my GERD was it's worst, I had alot of nausea, yellow stools and heartburn. Aciphex always worked extremely well for me, in taking away all these symptoms. The fatigue I'm not sure about. I have it from having chronic fatigue.

Hi leon! :)

Are you currently under a Dr.'s care? I would suggest that you talk to your Dr. and let him/or her know that you are having these problems/symptoms.

We are not Dr.'s here and can only offer what we've been through and suggestions. I think you should make an appt. with your Dr. and please let us know what they tell you!!

Hugs, Teri :)

Hi Leon,
What kind of doctor is treating you? It's okay to look for a second opinion too. I have found that Aciphex helps me the most, but something different might help someone else more. Sometimes, it's good to try another medication if the one you're on doesn't help. Eating fast-food every day can really be hard on you (not to mention unhealthy). Is there any way you can make your own lunch and take it with you? Or maybe you could make better choices at the fastfood place? I think most of us have trouble with fast food.
I know it's fast and easy and convenient.........but not good for us!
