Hi there,

For the past 7 years I've suffered from GERD/LPR, the most troublesome symptom of which has been me constantly losing my voice as the day goes on (very hoarse and whispery, complete with inflamed sinuses and oesophagus) - to the point that talking is very uncomfortable and people have a hard time understanding me.

When I don't have LPR (on the odd day I don't get symptoms) my voice is strong and legible. I was hoping that having Nissen Fundoplication would give me more symptom-free days (I had all the tests to make sure I was a good candidate, and had the surgery 10 weeks ago), and ultimately give me my voice back full-time, however nothing has changed. I know the wrap is in place (no burping, can feel it in place, other reflux symptoms are pretty much gone), however my eosophagus is as inflamed and troublesome as before.

So - has anyone had similar issues with their voice? And if so, did you manage to resolve them?
