Hi. I'm Mackenzie. I'm 17 years old and for the past two months I have been having horrible heartburn and stomach and chest pain. I've had multiple blood work ran, I've had an egd and biopsies and so far everything has came back normal. In early May, I found out I had H.Pylori. I did the 14 day treatment. It seemed as though I was getting better until here the past week. The pain and burning has came back leaving me unable to do normal activities throughout the day and having sleepless nights. I'm in desperate need of relief from all of this pain! Also, right now the only medicine I'm taking is Prilosec 30mg in the morning, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Does anyone has any suggestions on how I can get better and get back to my normal life again?!

*Prevacid, not Prilosec. I've been on Zantac, Prilosec and now Prevacid.

hi Mackenzie
sorry to hear about it. Please do not worry and do not lose hope. It will take time. I had same things in January - treated by H-PAC for two weeks and got worse. Actually they said it was normal that you had more acid after that aggressive treatment as stomach is trying to heal. Pay attention to your diet and soon you may not need drugs. I am now getting better, but it has been six months. I hope it will be quicker for you since you are so young. Try to exercise but most importantly help your stomach heal now... good luck

Was there any foods that you found that didn't affect you? I'm still having trouble finding stuff that doesn't give me really bad heartburn or a stomach ache
