Rob here. 34 goin on 35. Ive been diagnosed and suffering from GERD since March 2014 following extended illness that started from Jan. 2nd 2014 through March from flu, sinus infection, and then bronchitis. As a result I now have GERD after back to back antibiotic treatments as well as 2 weeks of omeprazol. Ive suffered from high stress before all this and continually got sick. It has been a downward spiral. I also had anxiety, and fatigue all along with the GERD symptoms. Ive read a lot of posts here and i know what most of you are going through. I am not cured of it but i really want to be. I have been able to reduce a lot of my symptoms naturally but they have not gone away completely. Not yet anyway. It is a constant work in progress. Traditional MD's per my current healthcare insurance have been near useless in this journey and may have actually made my symptoms worse at one point. I have taken more health tests this year than ever before in my life and nearly all have come back "within range". Ive done chest xrays, head CT, and hopefully soon get in to see a GI after several months of waiting for the appt. just to consult... Needless to say im disappointed and frustrated but ive not been idle. I have done some research like many of you and ive sought the help from alt medicine and natural healing. I will share what ive tried if anyone wants to know. Good luck to you all! Stay Positive!
