I just had a gastroscopy done two days ago and I was diagnosed with H.pylori and a Hiatus hernia, the specialist said the Hernia is very very small and it shouldn't be giving me symptoms, that it is the H.Pylori that is causing the nausea and bitter taste in the mouth. I don't know the size of the Hiatus hernia or whether it is a sliding one or not. I didn't know to ask those questions. I'm just wondering if anyone else with H.Pylori had the bitter taste in the mouth and pressure feeling and nausea in the solar plexus region?
The doctor seemed happy to give me the two antibiotics and PPI's to get rid of the H.Pylori and that the hernia is so small it shouldn't bother me. For some reason I feel like the hernia is what is causing the problems.. I'm going to start the antibiotics tomorrow but just wanted to know if anyone else is in a similar situation and if the antibiotics worked in clearing the bitter taste and nausea. I'm a little stressed over this because I'm 22 years old, slim and healthy and I know there could be A LOT worse happen but it is causing a lot of misery for me!

Thank you for reading!
