I'm new to this community.
I'm an 18 yr old female with bad IBS and something that is currently diagnosed as "reflux".
My symptoms include;
-the feeling of excesive mucus in throat (it's very hard to swallow it)
- worse in morning and night
- Sometimes Sometimes I feel like food gets stuck going down. (ex: Bread, waffles, and chicken nuggets)
- once i have a sip of a drink it goes down fine.
-I also get nassues sometimes (but not to the point of throwing up- just uncomfortable)
-Sometimes my ears randomely get very itchy.
****I'm currently on reflux meds and have been for a while and they really don't seem to be helping.
I went to an ENT and he said i have bad COBBELSTONING and inflamation in my throat. He doesn't think it's Post nasal drip b/c my nose seemed fine. I was also recently diagnosed with a HIATAL HERNIA (via pill cam). (I had a colon/endoscopy 2 yrs ago and they were both clean, idk how they missed the hernia then.)
What is this- and how can I fix it???
