Hey guys....I'm new here.

Does anyone know the correct word to describe the feeling of having hiccups without having an actual hiccup (sort of like the stage right before the actual hiccup when you're grasping for air) ? I get this daily now, especially when doing intense exercise.

Is this also what is known as a "motility disorder" ?

Thank you.
P.S> I have a history of GERD, nissen, Barrett's...the whole enchilada. Good times!
