Hi all
I am new to this forum
I almost read all the posts
I have been suffering from occasional breathing shortness mainly when I get stress or angry, when I eat certain foods,
I think I have combination of acid reflux and anxiety , I am not sure which one caused the other one. It started 2005 after going through a lot of stressful family problems, suddenly my breathing problem started my two months baby died inside me and stayed dead for a weak because the doctor advised me to let it come out naturally which it did . The breathing problem continue. I visited all sort of doctors and they checked my oxygen level and made x-Ray and other kind of breathing checking. Nothing change , then one day I saw Avery simple GP and he told me that I have anxiety . So immediately I went to the net and made a search. And I order the first package I found for anxiety which was some CDs and a folder , it is called linken method it improved me 80% so I was relief and thankful to the person who support this package who himself had a very high level of anxiety so when I read his experience , mine became so small. I did not go to work for 6 months but after that I was completely ok and start work again. But really since 2005 I have not been the same person as before, I had some panick attacks which started the first time when I was having my facial , I fight , but not successfully , I am now having flying phobia which make me very sad because I like traveling . Also my occasional breathing problems came back and the doctor told me that it is acid reflux , so I started taking pariet 20 mg which really help
But as you can see I am in between mild(??) anxiet and acid reflux
But one thing for sure, selection of foods is very important . Fatty foods and spicy is very bad to my condition while camomile tea , cold milk and apple juice(the best) , are really good.
I am sure god will help us since we are trying to help ourselves , we should always ask god for support before any body else.

Hi Dalalmona,

Welcome to Healing Well! Sorry to hear about your problems...I hope everything improves very soon! This is a great forum for asking questions about GERD and food choice. Hopefully someone comes by soon to offer some suggestions.

As you mentioned you also struggle with anxiety, consider visiting the Anxiety-Panic Disorder forum at this
It's a great place to receive lots of support and understanding from others who struggle with anxiety.

Very best wishes,
