I just had my lap nissen this morning. I was feeling as good as can be expected under the circumstances until a bout of hiccups started.

Any tips for relief?

I always have sugar. I just have a spoonful (packet or two). That usually works for me.

Good luck.

Welcome to the wrapped club!

Well unfortunately the hiccups are a part of the process. the work done on the diaphragm and nerve issues cause it. I also knew when I had eaten enough because I would get them. My bodies way of telling me to stop.

It does go away with time. Keep a pillow handy to hold on your belly. Hug it against your belly when they come and it works very well for sneezes and coughs too.

Take care,
Bill
