I have the pH test next week(and the dreaded mamometry) They said I'm supposed to eat bad foods and lie flat to make the reflux more noticeable on the test. But I'm questioning that logic, won't it just show how bad the reflux is if I eat bad? it's bad enough without aggravating it.

And how often to lay flat, won't I just damage the heck out of my tissues if I keep doing it over and over all night like they suggested?

Put it this way; the first thing I did when my impedance went down was go to Pizza Hut. I hadn't had that in 2 years! Basically, you want the reflux to show up if you do indeed have it, even if junk foods make you worse for a while. I'm not gonna lie, it's probably best to start bad foods a few days before the tests; just on the day may not give your body enough time to react. :p It'll be tough, but hopefully it'll be worth it when it comes to persuing a cure :)

This is hard, mostly we have to eat about 5 times a day as hard fatty food to show high reflux. I need to get ready for that soon.

This is precisely the point of this test - to prove how bad it is. The logic is sound.
