Hi cinderwinder,

You might have two major problem, first you might have Helicobacteria Pyrl, you need to go to your GP and ask for Stool tube so they can examine it if you have Helicobacteria Pyrl, if its positive than you be required to take antibiotics, but if its negative than you don't need to worry about it.

Second you might have GERD as Acid Reflux, its best for you to see a Gastroenterology who would examine you and recommend you for Endoscopy and 24hr Monitor to test your Acid Level. If you wish to do Endoscopy, you don't need to see Gastroenterology for that, your GP Doctor can referal to you immediatelly.

I have the same problem, I have a lot of chest pain on my left side and near my heart, its because of Acid Reflux.

Don't wait here for more replys back to you, you must see your GP soon as possible, even you can see them as urgent in the morning!
