I saw a news item today and wanted to pass this one along to you...Hugs, Teri tongue
"The study -- published in the September issue of The American Journal of Gastroenterology -- demonstrated that effective acid suppression therapy with a proton pump inhibitor, with either 20 or 40 milligrams of esomeprazole, relieved nighttime heartburn symptoms and GERD-related sleep disturbances."

interesting to see that they're publishing this now ... anyone whose come in contact with a Nexium rep for the past few years could tell you the exact same thing. i think AZ probably engaged in the study because they're competition's key selling point was "night time GERD" ... a medication that i've found is as good as taking a TUMS.
