Hi everyone,

Some things that I've been considering and wondering about:

1. Might LPR be more related (than GERD) to a weak LES due to (usually ) lack of gastro symptoms? I have gastro symptoms and airway symptoms, so maybe I"m in the minority for LPR sufferers?

2. Also, is LPR and GERD the same thing, except for the place that reflux reaches?

3. If I have stomach issues that precede/go along with the reflux, I assume it's not a weak LES that is causing my symptoms. Although, after enough reflux happens, maybe the LES *becomes* weak?

4. The Dropping Acid diet...Does the stress on food acidity only address the pepsin living in the airways, or does it address how the food affects our guts as well? Was just thinking about this, and thinking, maybe the fodmap or such diet is better for me because I KNOW my stomach is the root of my issues...Argh.

I guess that's enough for now. Thanks for any advice, fellow refluxers!
