Hi sujitha,

If you have lost your appetite in food, there is two possibility problems you would have is that Helicobacter Pylori, its very nasty bacterias that is in your stomach and it creates a huge impact to your stomach,: symptoms are likely is Nausea and vomiting, Abdominal pain, loose appetite in foods and become lazy and very weak in your body. As well it makes you have anxiety and stress and depression, because of Helicobacter Pylori.

Helicobacter Pylori will also interfere with your stomach acid that would create a high acid that would be called acid reflux as GERD.

Do not have Nissen's fundoplication surgery, until you are checked for Helicobacter Pylori:

If you have Helicobacter Pylori, you need to be treated first!

Helicobacter Pylori can be eliminated with antibiotics, you need to see your doctor and ask for a stool tube so you can make a stool sample and also ask for stool urine if you have any infections as well, also do blood test.

Listen, many people did not recovered from Nissen's fundoplication surgery because of Helicobacter Pylori.

When you get ride of Helicobacter Pylori completely from your stomach, than think about doing Nissen's fundoplication.

For now don't eat any spicy or fatty foods and any fizzy drinks. Eat very healthy foods as boiled and in oven and stay with water only!

You are also weak because you don't have appetite for food, you lost for vitamins as fruits and vegetables and chicken and fish, if you don't have that at all for long time, you are body will get very weak.

Can I ask you, do you feel dizzy a lot by anyway!

I forgot to mention this to you!

Do you have a different smell in your mouth, that is very not pleasant to taste it!

its embarrassing to ask a lady this question but its important, When you go to toilet, do you have a different color of your poo now, because you might have black color of Helicobacter Pylori.

let me know

That's good thing that you don't have h.pylori.

As you stated Nissen's fundoplication surgery is best way to solve your GERD completely.

Also people who is overweight, its best to loose weight a lot as to slim your belly that won't pressure your stomach and it can help to reduce your GERD a lot.

Here is two sites in healingwell who are people have posted their lifestyle change after doing Nissen's fundoplication. I am also considering doing Nissen's fundoplication but I need to do manometry and 24 ph monitoring. You know that nobody wants to live with GERD and there is always a good opportunity to have Nissen's fundoplication for surgery, some people have to do redo for their surgery and some are not, its not scary at all. It will bring your life back!
May I ask, have you done manometry and 24 ph monitoring, it will show if you have a high acid level and other symptoms as well.

Hi sujitha,

Sorry for late reply! Your doctor can't help you for regarding Nissen's fundoplication, you need to ask your Doctor to referral you to a GI as Gastroenterologist: Gastroenterologist are expert of GERD and digestions, they can referral you to Nissen's fundoplication.

Hi sujitha

How are you?

Esophageal manometry will show how well your esophagus works and measures muscle contractions and lower oesophageal sphincter is working, by measuring pressure levels inside the sphincter muscle. So manometry won't show any particularly of acid reflux, but 24-hour pH monitoring will show your level of your acid. Listen sujitha, before you go for manometry and 24-hour pH monitoring, you need to make sure that your symptoms worse, eat junks foods alot that would trigger your acid reflux bad, eat chocolates and sweets, whatever to show that you have a highest level acid reflux, so you can be qualified for Nissen Fundo.

You are going to have manometry and 24-hour pH monitoring same day, last is 24-hour pH monitoring, you are going to take it home with you and will stick it on your noise in the hospital who will put it for you, there is going to be options in the machine of 24-hour pH monitoring, like when you eat food or drink or sleep or walking! They will guide you how to use it! you can also check in youtube by people whom they had 24-hour pH monitoring and it could help you with information of how to use it! Listen you do need to eat food on that day you are going to use 24-hour pH monitoring, so you can show further more acid reflux that triggers you!

Listen, here is a story of Barry who had exactly as ours symptoms, he done Nissen Fundo sugery, he is completely healed!

Here is the link! http://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=45&m=3238915

I am going to have manometry and 24-hour pH monitoring in 17/11/2014, I am going to eat a lot of junk foods to show acid reflux so I can be qualified.

You see some people have h.pylori and it associated with your acid reflux but other people who doesn't have h.pylori, they get it from having a lot of spicy foods and most of fizzy drinks.

H.pylori anybody can get, even a baby, your doctor is wrong. H.pylori are from different variety foods that is not clean entirely and it also connects between women and men who kiss, and they can get that way as well.

There is millions of people who have done Nissen Fundo, many people have different symptoms afterwards, it takes very long time to heal your body. Each person is different, even you and me. As Barry stated that after 9 months later that all his symptoms is gone, he was able eat anything he wants, even steak or beer.

But I myself would stay as healthy, its your way to understand what you need to eat and how to change your new lifestyle after nissen fundo, I mean don't drink fizzy drinks that is not good for your acid at all and to much sugar or spicy foods, be healthy.

Hi,

I am confused, how did you get the result so fast, it takes like 1 or 2 weeks for the result to come!

Your GI can't force you, you have a choice is to stay with tablets or do surgery!

This is to any and all who are suffering with excess mucus, a terrible taste in the back of the throat (manure or rotten), bad breath, uncomfortable feeling in the throat, hoarseness, wheezing, waking up with "gunk on the back of the throat. It may be tonsil stones. The ENT's may say it is GERD or LPR and you can read as much information on the internet as you want and try as many remedies as you want, but I would encourage everyone to PLEASE, PLEASE start with a water pick and get in to the deep crevices in your tonsil's. It may take a couple days and some bleeding to ensure you have gotten all of the crevices cleaned out. Be careful and use the lowest pressure tip. I tried gargling numerous types of liquids to include; apple cider vinegar, peroxide, salt water, pure lemon juice, anti-bacterial mouthwashes. I gargled up a "few" tonsil stones since my symptoms started about three months ago and thought with all of the vigorous gargling that there was no way I still had tonsil stones but yet I still had many of the symptoms I described above and the rotten taste in my throat was driving me insane. My ENT said I had LPR. I decided to spend the thirty five bucks on a water pick and cannot explain how many more tonsil stones broke loose. I literally hit the "mother load". I could have gargled the rest of my life, I think and not have broken them loose. My tonsils may or may not continue to produce tonsil stones but I can honestly say that I have two days under my belt, symptom free and without tonsil stones. One other note, and it is somewhat disgusting, but I want sufferers to know this. I decided to test the some of the "best practices" to eliminate tonsil stones by placing the disgusting stones themselves in capfuls of Peroxide, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice. These liquids did absolutely nothing to break up these stones. I know this will not help everyone but I truly believe this will help many of you. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Good Luck!
