Hi all,

So, I had a banana around 6 am this morning, followed up by some healthy nuts around 9:30 am. However, I had to skip lunch today and I learned my lesson. Around 2 pm, I felt like I was going to die, lol. Bad chest pains, bitter taste, tight throat, and was dizzy.

Has anyone else experienced this problem after skipping a meal? It's also crazy how for several hours after that, my chest felt sore over my left pec. Right now, it seems to have gone away, but it sure was rough.

Lesson learned.

Yes, you should be eating small little meals through the day. You should not skip.

Hi relfuxtrooper 85 maybe the gerd do not take banana well because every time I eat banana I have a lump or tightness in my throat, so I quickly drink warm water, and it easily go away. certain fruits do not agree with the gerd. I believe you had a delayed reaction when you did not eat, and the gas build up cause the gerd to react to that banana you had ate.
