I rather doubt that anyone approaches this surgery (or any surgery, for that matter), free of anxiety and worry! It's a perfectly normal reaction.
Just think, though...your participation in this great forum has provided you with a tool box filled with things that will help you cope with the surgery and recovery! And you'll have a forum filled with online friends who will offer you lots of support and encouragement as you go through recovery.
I had this surgery in 2009, and like you, was lucky enough to find this forum before my surgery. You'll do just fine!
