Hello I'm Kimberly,
I had hiatus hernia surgery 3/18 since my surgery everything I drink gives me heartburn. Before surgery I didn't have heartburn this much. Is this normal and how long can I expect this to last? I thought surgery would eliminate heartburn/acid reflex instead it has given me heartburn. Please help!!! Has anyone else experienced this?

Welcome to the forum.
Remember we're not doctors, so hopefully you are also asking your surgeon to get the real answer.
You're just beginning recovery. From my own experience thngs will change a lot for months. You may still have irritation from all the abuse your esophagus took.
Some people are improved immediately, but It took me over 6 months to start feeling well. Having hernia repair in addition to a wrap makes a difference.
Don't panic, but do talk to your doctor.
