If you dont have H-pylori bacteria, or Hatial Hernia muscle-diaphragm issues, a lifestyle / diet change and supplements usually can work. At 23, this might not be to attractive LOL.
Booze and greasy or high acid foods aggravate GERD.
There are a few posts here on people's positive results with digestive enzymes and probiotics, since these will help too. I and another member have mentioned Jarrow D-Limonene 1000mg gel tabs, which help heal the leaky LES valve. Some "Old school" Rx only believers dont think twice about
natural remedies since Drs dont mention this, but they DO work. Drs keep big pharma going $$.
