Before taking the antibiotics last May, I have noticed some times during my sleep some excessive quantity of watery saliva on my pillow.
I didn't pay much attention, I was thought that it may be caused by taking an antidepressant, named remeron. But I don't remember if it was only happening when I was taking remeron. I didn;t tkae it on a daily basis
I search on the Internet and I find that a cause of drooling is reflux. So according to my current tough situation I had some kind of silent reflux during the night prior to the antibiotics and taking the antibiotics it cames to the forefront?
My worry is why my impedance test showed that I am an upright refluxer of weakly acid reflux, I had extremely high numbers during the day and very low in supine position. The only time I find peace from LPR symptoms is in my sleep..
I am trying sometimes to be positive that the strong antibiotics triggered my silent reflux and came to the forefront and witht he time I will come back to normal as I used to be.
I am thinking that maybe it is a flare up triggered by the antibiotics. How long does it take for LPR symptoms to resolve?
PPI's are not for my case as my doctor said and taking one last June aggravated my reflux adding new symptoms.
she gaves me an antacid riopan but I stopped it because after taking all these acid suppression medications my saliva became extremely foamy and as a result my tongue and my throat was in constant pain.
I also have iron deficiency and I noticed that when I was taking the antacid I had hair loss. One week that I stop it, my hair loss stop too.
I suppose that low stomach acid after the antacid caused my foamy saliva and my hair loss
I am praying these holy days in God to help me, because I am still experiencing the globus sensation and I have a pain in my thoracic spine, I supposed due to reflux
