I'm not saying the things I did will help you, nor I am telling you to try them, I'm just glad I got rid of my chronic gastritis and I'd like to say how. So after 3 week's of intense burning stomach pain, losing weight, feeling nausea after eating, throwing up, missing work, feeling exhausted and losing sleep, and 2 trips to the ER, I was diagnosed with gastritis. My doctor prescribed me cipro and told me to take it twice a day for 2 weeks. Me being scared of side effects and knowing cipro has caused many problems to people, especially nerve problems in my family members I refused to take it. Instead, I searched up many things online and decided to try them. I dropped milk, pop, fried foods, and greasy foods from my diet immediately. Every morning I'd wake up, take an acid reducer, drink a danactive drink, and take 3 multivitamin's along with 2 glasses of water. Mid day I'd suck on around 2 to 3 peppermints, and drink around 3 more glasses of water while at work. Once I got home I'd eat a dinner with a side of 3 different greens. Turnip greens, green beans, and broccoli along with a probiotoc yogurt, and I can't stress enough water water water. Try to drink a lot of water during this time. Changing my diet helped almost 2 days after, but the number one thing you need to try to do is ignore the pain as much as possible, and try to be active. Thinking about the pain only makes it worse, so once you try to focus on other things and move around it'll start to diminish. I noticed if I started to think about the pain again it'd come back so I would make myself busy. On the 3rd day I only had a small dull pain and it'd go away if I just didn't think about it. 4th day I woke up with no pain or anything at all and I have my life back. I can eat now and go back to work. LONG STORY SHORT. Drink tons of water, eat probiotoc yogurt, remove pop and milk and bad foods from your diet and add in more veggies, and don't let the pain run your life, distract yourself from it. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm feeling great.
