I am having some middle-upper back issues, which I believe are muscular due to poor posture. It is not unbearable pain, but it hurts, mostly on the left side, when bending the opposite way or twisting. It is fine in the mornings, but as I sit throughout the day, it hurts more.
I'm also experiencing increased burping/belching. With that, come a mild pain in my mid-lower back on the left side, near the spine. This occurs when I burp.
No other GERD symptoms, but I am under a bit of stress and this is causing anxiety, which may explain the increase in burping.
I'm mostly concerned about the burping pain in the mid-lower back. Seems to be a pretty specific spot. Could this be tied to my other back pain (muscular, if it is in fact that.) Or, perhaps, this burping pain is separate, related to GERD or some other digestive issue? I'm on azathiaprine for Ulcerative Colitis, so I worry about pancreas, liver, etc.
