Has anyone experienced a Pocket in wrap and twisting causing food to get stuck and not go through to the stomach easily? I had an endoscopy today because i have been throwing everything up. They found a pocket in my wrap that was collecting bile. They also found that the stomach was twisted an awkward angle as well, making it so that food cannot pass through easily. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I am 4 weeks post op for my full wrap nissen fundoplication surgery. It has been 4 weeks of pure hell. My body other than the wrap issues has finally begun to feel somewhat better...i am scared to have them go in and fix the wrap. The initial surgery was extremely rough! I have an amazing surgeon, but i dont want to go through it all again! Please share your experience if anyone has had this happen. Thanks

Im so sorry to hear that youre operation "failed".
Did the doctors say you need a new surgery??
I am having gastroscopy to check my full nissen on the 29.
Have to check if mine is still intact. Ive got burning stomac, burning wrapsite and some refluxlike feelings.. had to go back on meds..
Know how you feel😰

I have not talked to my doctor yet. I am hoping to hear from him today. It has been a long and awful recovery for me. I wish i could take it all back and deal with the reflux. sad

Did the endoscopy hurt because of your wrap?
I cant understand how the scope can get through the wrap.??

I Hope you will get a quick fix to your problem!

I am a little sore today from it, but not unbearable. The endoscopy thing went through the top of the wrap and then had to angle a 90° right angle to get through the rest of it, if that makes sense? It does not just go straight through to my stomach.
