The post-surgery diet is very restrictive. The one that I used was the UPMC post-Nissen diet (you can Google it), and it was pretty good. Unfortunately, you won't be back to a regular diet for a while, and you may be experiencing peak swelling of the wrap which does occur around the 10-day to 2 week mark. Is it possible that the pain is gas-related, because that is really common after surgery and walking as much as possible really does help. I was also very weak after my surgery, too, and didn't go back to work for 2 months. Just don't expect too much too soon and take it slow, as you are still recovering from major surgery. It does get better, it just not as quickly as we'd like. I didn't start to feel better until around 6-months after surgery and felt like my "new" self around a year.
