Hello all smile

I am a 34 year old female and I am experiencing Left-Sided chest pain, shoulder, arm, and neck pain an hour or so after eating for the last three weeks. It is especially exacerbated by walking after eating. My heart rate increases as well and I feel very crummy overall. Rest is the only way to relieve the discomfort although even then it doesn't always relieve completely. It almost feels as though there is a trapped bubble of gas needing to escape, but nothing actually comes out.

I guess I am just wondering if anyone else experiences GERD symptoms such as these? Or are these more indicative of a heart issue. I'm feeling as though the quality of my life has decreased since these symptoms appeared and I am also feeling worried and defeated.

I found this forum very informative and was hoping others could provide some information regarding their GERD symptoms or if any align with my own?

I'm wishing good health to all and thank you kindly for reading my post.

I had left-sided chest pain with no radiation down my arms or neck before my surgery. When I started having the chest pain, I went to see a heart doctor. My heart was fine but I had a gigantic hiatal herna. My stomach was through the hernia and upside-down in my chest. I had my gall bladder out because of stones, which was found by ultrasound.

Go see your primary MD and get an EKG right away. They can refer you for further tests. Chest pain is something to be concerned about - especially with radiation down your arm, neck and jaw.
